Heart of Kent

Counselling and Psychotherapy Services

"A healer is someone who seeks to be the light she wishes she had in her darkest moments."

Welcome

I'm Jane, a qualified integrative counsellor with a private practice in Maidstone, Kent. Additionally, I offer remote counselling across the UK via Zoom, Skype, instant messaging and email.

I work with adults and young people (teenagers)

There are many reasons why people come to counselling and I understand that taking the first steps towards counselling is not always easy. My own life has not been without struggles and my own experiences of personal counselling have helped shaped the type of counsellor I strive to be.

Many of the clients I see are experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, panic attacks, relationship difficulties and issues relating to family, food and body image. I also specialise in eating disorders and run courses for young people suffering from self-harm or in need of some well-being counselling (e.g. anxiety, anger, low self-esteem).

I hope that my website provides enough information to help you feel more at ease.

I am currently offering remote counselling via Zoom (with or without visual video image), Skype, instant messaging platforms and email.

Counselling can help you make sense of past experiences and significant life events. Counselling is about helping you to understand yourself and how you relate to others. The pace of your counselling sessions will be led by you, the client. I offer an empathetic, accepting and non-judgemental space where I will focus upon your needs. I will help support you on a path to self-discovery, recovery and healing.
